Its hard to believe that over thirty years have passed since I was fortunate enough to become the neighbor of two of the nicest people in Grayling. We had much fun together-fishing on Lake M.and bringing in a catch that your mom would prepare for dinner on the porch as we enjoyed the evening with its beautiful sunset. When my parents would visit, we would take the old '83 caprice casino hopping-sometimes to St.Ignace and other times to Pshabestown. During the winter, they kept in touch-sending citrus from their trees in Arizona or even those expensive gems called Macadamia nuts when they were off to Hawaii. Now my dear friends are together once again and while we remain here in sorrow, I am sure that she is happy once again to be with the love of her life. May the memory of these wonderful people be with us always-they were more than friends to me-they were family.
